Fine with me. I’m certain he will choose two or three of the few sane, moderate ones.

This is normal and expected from most Presidents.

Because Republicans have actual ambition while centrist Democrats don't? You'd be 100% correct.

The way he can’t tell the difference between a Bernie Sanders and a Michael Bloomberg...

That's what happens when some republicans are easier to convince than some Bernie supporters.

And that's why republicans have all the crazy laws they want, while progressives cant get anything done.

The worst part is I feel like I agree with both of these statements. Can we just go back in time and prevent Trump from taking office in the first place? The new messes everywhere are too stressful :rip:

But but but ..Berniie Bro's seem to overlook this very point...

Not compromising the fight for human rights isn’t the same thing as “omg he likes orange and I like blue, he can’t sit with us.”

WHAT THE HELL

How does anyone expect for any positive/progressive changes to happen if you've got him working with republicans so close to him!?!?! It's not like Trump has democrats in his cabinet.

If he wants a politically-reasonable balance, that's exactly what CONGRESS AND THE SUPREME COURT IS FOR. :saladga::saladga::saladga: It's like trying to go on a healthy diet but you still keep cake, candy, and ice cream in your house.

How I feel about this would depend on what kind of Republican and for what position.

There's Kasich styled GOP that I wouldn't mind terribly and there's Trump/Graham/Cruz/McConnell/Scott/etc GOP that would make me want to die :toofunny:

Regardless, hopefully this is just talk to woo some of the disgruntled former Trump voters over to him.

Yeah, there's some things Republicans just cannot be trusted with. Healthcare, the environment, employee rights, and protection against gender, racial, and LGBTQ discrimination just to name a couple :green:

I don't think a few brownie points from the right is worth turning off the progressive movement but we'll see I guess.

That’s smart. Then there would be balance and things could ACTUALLY get done

Seeming busy isn’t worth it if you’re pushing trash legislation.
