Speaking at a fundraising event, Biden said he would not rule out bringing people from the rival party on board for top administration jobs, as he considers an unorthodox rollout of his running mate and others selected for key posts months before the Nov. 3 election. What does that have to do with anything? Convincing Bernie supporters and selecting Republicans to be in his cabinet isn’t the same thing. That’s what happens when you aren’t a leftist, a progressive, or have any actual ambition to do anything other than bring us back to the conditions which gave us Trump in the first place. Not to sound defeatist, but you do realize there are people that will not vote Democrat regardless of whether a Republican backs Biden or joins forces with him. You have Republican supporters literally disowning members of their own party when they act against the common Trump rhetoric. I point you to Larry Hogan and Mike DeWine and Mitt Romney as examples of prominent Republicans who have gotten heavily criticized for disagreeing with Trump on a handful of issues.
