Our royalties actually have normal jobs and actually do a lot for us but anyways. Let the Dutch decide if they want a king or queen in their country and if they want to pay for it or not, thank you very much. This is his party for Dutch sake. :poot:

Maybe it's just me, but I don't think we should be celebrating kings and queens in 2020 anymore.

A lot of people actually.like it because it is a day off and we can go to festivals, I honestly do not care about Willy and Max and their children.

i never understand why some europeans countries still have Queens and Kings

we are in 2020 every person must be equal

its annoying to me that someone is a King so he lives in a big palace, has so many money (that probably the people pay for him?) and lives without doing anything

:fthis:

Because they actually bring more to a country (at least to the Netherlands) than any prime minister of a non-kingdom country ever could.

The amount of economic benefits that their visits and doings bring to the country are MORE than what people pay for them through tax. When that stops being true, then I guess we will lose kings and queens in Europe as well.

Well and Trump is a billionaire, he can give billions and become a king? I find it unacceptable a person to be considered a king in the 21th century. Every person must be equal and have exactly the same rights.

It is not about privileges or not having equal rights. Tbh, I wouldn’t even want to be king myself as he and his family constantly have to be in the public eye and are getting ridiculed. Some people do love the royalties and just let them be. Let our country have a king, which is in fact also actually good for our national economy

Royal families have been there for decades/centuries and actually had political influence, not just made a few billions in the last 2 generations.

The thing is that they don't have power over people, they actually pretty much can't make almost any decision that would hurt me or anyone in any sense. People simply accept to pay for their 'wealthy' lives, as long as they serve this country and bring something in return. You could look at it as any job in the entertainment industry really, it's just that the job is public on a political & social level.

I don't agree with you at all. Obviously  you are raised in a country that has a king  and you are brainwashed that king is good, people should pay for their wealthy lives cause its good for your country to have a king. What a joke. I'm glad that my country doesn't have a king but also respect your opinions and at least I'm happy that you live in a country that has a king and you are ok with this. So everyone is happy :vegas:

Still think that kings and queens have no place in 21st century and no one can change my mind on this.
