The shady emote is there because that's literaly like Kanye saying, "400 years of slavery? That sounds like a choice!" The slaves outnumbered white southerners, so why didn't they just form an uprising?? It's cause they hold 0% of the power. They're under an authoritarian regime. Even if they do have the numbers, fear and the power that the North Korean government posses could just wipe them out. 𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔪𝔬𝔫𝔰𝔱𝔢𝔯 𝔱𝔬𝔯𝔢 𝔞𝔴𝔞𝔶 𝔦𝔱𝔰 𝔪𝔞𝔰𝔨 𝔞𝔫𝔡...𝔦𝔱𝔰 𝔣𝔞𝔠𝔢 𝔴𝔞𝔰 𝔪𝔦𝔫𝔢. Even if they do have the numbers, fear and the power that the North Korean government posses could just wipe them out. You see, many North Korean's are oblivious to what they live in. Regardless if they like it or not, their government is their world and what they know. There are literally only a few people in power standing in their way. If the people obtained class consciousness, they would be unstoppable. The same goes for Americans for example. If they rose up and fought the greedy government capitalists at the top, they would get their socialized healthcare, education and such. Furthermore, the analogy to slavery isn't the same. Black people were literally owned, tortured and killed just for being black. They had a very large majority of white people against them. The North Korean leaders are very small in number. To reiterate, IF the people of DPRK had the collective power to dismantle their government, they easily could. I don't understand how you are fighting against this? 0110100001100101011011000110110001101111

To reiterate, IF the people of DPRK had the collective power to dismantle their government, they easily could. I don't understand how you are fighting against this? I'm not saying that they don't deserve liberation. What I'm telling you is that to achieve that is much harder than just simply saying, "They should just rise up and throw over their government." They're in an authoritarian regime. It. is. not. that. simple. Relatively speaking, sure, I guess there are "fewer" people in government in North Korea when compared to a country like the United States, but when they literally control everything, it's not as simple as being like, "Hey, we're a sizeable group of people. Let's just walk in and try and take over the place!" And like you said, North Koreans only know what they know because they are getting handpicked information. They are literally living in a bubble. Them obtaining a sense of class consciousness would be difficult in it of itself. But for you to say, "they would be unstoppable", again, is pure ignorance. No they wouldn't. In fact, they'd be quite stoppable. The North Korean army would be able to easily dismantle them if they chose to do that. And to compare this to the American government...I'm sorry, but that's a stretch. The United States is surely not uncorrupt, but they're not North Korea. American citizens have far more liberties. Finally, with the analogy to slavery. those two are comparable. In regards to the population between slaves and white slave owners, the reality was that while [relatively] fewer white southerners owned slaves, the number of slaves they owned was big. So, in many places, you have few plantations, but the few plantations you had were giant. In that sense, there were definitely less white people in those plantations compared to the slaves, yet, they slaves couldn't just "rise up" cause they held no power. Besides, if they did "rise up" what then? They're still stuck in the South; they would need to find a way to escape, and that's extremely difficult and dangerous to do. I admire your optimism, but being too optimistic = being naive. 𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔪𝔬𝔫𝔰𝔱𝔢𝔯 𝔱𝔬𝔯𝔢 𝔞𝔴𝔞𝔶 𝔦𝔱𝔰 𝔪𝔞𝔰𝔨 𝔞𝔫𝔡...𝔦𝔱𝔰 𝔣𝔞𝔠𝔢 𝔴𝔞𝔰 𝔪𝔦𝔫𝔢.

Whatever wealth it does have is in the hands of the royal family at the moment. The people have to rise up themselves. The thing is they can't. In North Korea, there's this group of people that the ruling family take care of. In order to take down the family, they have to take down this group of people which runs in the numbers of millions. That's very unlikely. They are also brainwashed and very nationalistic. It's gonna be hell to overthrow that family.
