I want to be optimistic, but the reality is that cases will likely spread due to this. Even those small "liberty" protests could have dire effects in areas that are more densely populated. He's also not "local" government as he's opening up the entire State. No one is ignoring him. We're doing quite the opposite by saying things shouldn't be moved so quickly. spicemuncher 1,740 Posted April 21, 2020 Share Posted April 21, 2020 See, I try to simplify things: every day that we can keep people inside their homes is one day closer to a vaccine (or at least some sort of approved treatment protocol) and one day shorter in the span that people could potentially catch the virus. I’d rather stay home another 6 months and live another 30-40 years, than go out now and increase the chance of catching the virus and have complications. Trust me, I am bored, tired, mentally drained, living alone, working unbearable hours from home, live in a country where there is enforced curfew from 5pm to 7am every day, but I’m not complaining. Lol My point from the very beginning is I thought it was irresponsible to say not to listen to your local government. I’m talking about the leaders of your community. That does not mean the governor of Georgia specifically at all. And I’m not going to back down. It’s a dangerous idea to ignore local governments and decide based on all of your “Internet” knowledge what OTHERS should be doing. Kemp is trash and should not be listened to.... he stated 18 days ago he didn’t know asymptomatic people could carry and spread the virus. The next day we ordered all the beaches to open... now he wants to re open the economy for the state, without the proper amount of testing that should be done. The state is severely under testing and putting so many lives at risk here, and a lot of the deaths over the past weeks are not being documented as COVID-19..... so of course the numbers are going to be low. This is going to be a disaster! and like a I said previously... it seems many of the conspiracy theorist seem to live here and are all on board cause this is government operation apparently to force vaccines on people and instill 5G to control us... and that NONE of this is real.... yes these are real thoughts and posts I have read from acquaintances throughout the state and texts I’ve received....
