Republicans for Biden

If these Republicans hate Trump this much, then they probably didn't vote for him the first time. So no new votes there and no inspiration.

There are a lot of moderate republicans who voted party line in 2016 but have since woken up to how destructive he is

It's speculation and anecdotal. There were plenty of those statements going into 2016 of never Trumper republicans and we see how that turned out.

November is when we will see the numbers of how/if districts flipped.

Dont let politicians use fear to get your vote, use that fear against them and force them to earn your vote. Dont let them use someone like Trump as a weapon against you, you should use Trump as a weapon against them. Change the narrative from blaming voters for Trumps win, to blaming the Democratic party for Trumps win because they refuse to represent their own voters. Tell them if you want to win next time, you must earn our vote. Tell them you are not scared of Trump if the other choice is someone like Biden.

Yes Trump might win now, but long term thinking, progressives will have power and change the Democratic party forever. But if you continue to vote for the better of two evils, the Democratic party might take 2-3 decades to change. You will have to wait for all the old people to die then you can possibly win.

The whole purpose of a Democracy is to give voters the power to control the system. But today it seems like Democracy is being used against the voters and people are going along with it! Democracy only works when people are educated politically and understand the power they have.

I mean, I know I’m not voting for Trump, and Biden is the only one who has a chance. So I mean it’s obvious who to vote for, even though I would much rather vote for Bernie. Not voting for Biden is just asking for another Trump term. I think I can speak for most us when I say that we would rather anyone else other than Trump.

Yeah, most people would say it's obvious

Its time for Biden and the Democratic party to earn the progressive vote, not the other way around. If Biden loses, its because he did not do a great job at earning his own party votes.

Well the progressive wing of the party apparently doesn’t turn out enough to nominate their candidate. The facts as they stand are Biden vs. Trump. Pinch your nose if you must but refusing to vote for Biden might as well be a vote for Trump.

Keep in mind that there is a lot of money being spent on social media, ads, etc. designed specifically to make Democratic voters disinterested or disengaged... and it’s Trump who benefits from it.

America is the only country in the world where the media will say it is the people fault someone didn't get elected :billie:

If Biden loses the progressive vote it's the people fault? If Trump wins you will blame the voters?

Not the loser candidate for being a bad choice? LMAO

I’m not saying there’s necessarily enough of them to flip an election or something. Hopefully, but I’m not counting on it. But I personally know quite a few people who voted trump for the economy or whatever, and now they’re planning to vote for either a moderate democrat or not vote, so there’s definitely people like that out there

Surely this is a predictable turn of events? Biden has pretty right wing leanings. I would expect that moderate Republicans do want him in power.

:interestinga:Biden is pro gay rights, supports the minimum wage/union/public healthcare/Social Security, is very supportive of gun control and will repeal Trump’s “tax bill”.

Was there an incumbent in 2016? People used the exact same arguements.

Trump is also "pro-gay" and has many gay followers, despite the fact his policies are ****.
