Stupid Love is honestly not the best to date this 2020. I really liked hearing it 2-3 times, but I forgot myself repeating the song which tells me that I'm not a fan of it. Physical may sound mainstream, but that song is a total bop. I get loads of energy and lots of happiness. I can't find myself having any emotion when listening to Stupid Love and that's what I really wanted to expect from Gaga (other songs might do it for me probably). So for me, Stupid Love ain't the best song of 2020. And yes, I'm saying this on this damn forum. Can't praise anything from Gaga, but that doesn't say that I HATE the song. It's just NOT the best. I agree with you that not everyone have to like whatever Gaga put out there and this have been proven by the general reception of SL here. Like have you read all the criticism? The sheer amount of opinion about it is magnanimous! And I agree for most of it. FN and AH are already AOTY worthy. Dua and Abel will probably dominate this year and I'm here for it. But do you (referring to the some of Dua/Abel stans) have to refute everything that SL received? I think it's justifiable for them to think so hence it's not an overstatement. Also you can search for real music critics out there that worships FN and AH to death. What would have been cool is if the girls all had a part in the song, like something to rival Little Mix for example. Not just sit there and look pretty for Nicole to slay the vocals As I said, the video is cute but its SO predictable from them. I wasn't that excited or moved by it. Compared to Dua who stepped outside of her comfort zone and gave us something new, or Gaga with the whole concept of Chromatica. The react video is literally just the girls acting sexy and dancing in water, with choreography the same as the X Factor performance that made Nicole look good.
