To be fair, there is absolutely no link between those two things. The world will be no better off with this decision—in fact, a lot of people could've used her music and vivacious energy right now.

Can we stop pretending like she's doing the world a favor by delaying a pop album? The truth is: it is selfish to delay this record simply because things aren't going her and Interscope's way. None of our lives are going the way we expected them to, but millions of people are still at work because they have no choice (including me). Life goes on.

That said, there's nothing wrong with being selfish right now, and she's not doing anyone a serious disservice. She and her label just made a decision that they think is best, and that's it. But we don't need to glamorize it as some kind of kind gesture. It wasn't a kind gesture. It's a business decision, it has nothing to do with people dying or whatever

But the gist was that she's not being selfish and that she's delaying this album because people are sick and/or dying. I didn't think that was correct, even in a sarcastic context

I’m so sick of seeing this reaction. Get! Over! Your! Self! She postponed the album because it doesn’t feel right being joyful and happy while people are dying from this pandemic. God forbid y’all sit on twitter and gagadaily for another couple months, how ever will you survive???

And does it feel right to sell make up "while people are dying" and push your employees to work in dangerous situations  ?

The Album wasn't Cancelled just postponed.

In her statement she said she had so many surprised planned for the release that ended up getting changed, I think it's for the best. I'd rather wait and get the album how she planned it to be rather than it release as normal but without anything Gaga wanted us to see to go with it.

You have to remember she's worked on this album for Years, We can all wait a couple of months.
