Oof but look at the states hillary vs Obama won (yellow/purple)

It much more resembles Hillary's loss than Obama's win, so that doesn't bode well for Bernie either, and Clinton won Texas and Floridia!

It just so darksided. Obama and Trump ran as anti establishment  progressives, and won. Hillary, Romney ran as moderates, and lost.

But this framing is all through the elite and that’s the problem.

Obama was at the centre of American ideals in 2008, Trump was in 2016 (on economy, def not morals), and Bernie is in 2020. But now the Dem base is too scared to elect a man they like, only bc the TV told them he’s “bad and unelectable” and rarely have any on-air pushback against that. The right will sweep, they just will. It’s literally over for anyone but the right if Biden wins.

REALITY

If Bernie doesn't get some wins here, especially in places like Washington and Idaho (and hopefully  Michigan), I think that for the most part he's done for. His last chance to make an impression on voters will be the debate this weekend. If he doesn't do well there, or is just mediocre, then I don't think he really has a path forward at this point.

That would be extremely disappointing, though. America had a chance to really make some substantial change in this country, but instead they took the advice of the media and corporate elites to vote for Biden. Listen America, the media and corporate elites DON'T. WORK. FOR. YOU. They disguise themselves as compassionate, empathetic, working-for-the-people kind of politicians, but the reality is that they're just hungry for power and money. Bernie was your opportunity to change that.

If this primary has made anything clear, it's the fact that the Democratic party and the media apparatus they have influence over are not allies of the left, working people, the poor, or future generations. They'll screw us over, intentionally work to sabotage us and our movement, change rules, invent scandals about us, and flat-out ignore blatant weaknesses and repulsive records when it comes to establishment politicians.

Most of us on the left already knew that, but they really weren't even quiet about it this time around. It was blatant. The press outright begged the party to do it.

We're not on the same team. It's the poor, the debt-ridden, and the working class versus the world going forward.

Bernie's downfall has made me even more disgusted with the world than 2016 did. Have fun losing to Trump, moderates.

OK, **** the Democratic Party. Once California's results are 100% in, I'm out.

This guy is a notorious Bernie hater, OF COURSE he’d be ok with anything Joe does. But if it was Bernie!!! :rip:

Biden should easily win tonight, but the turn out could turn this around. If Bernie doesnt win Michigan, he can drop out.

Bernie won't win Michigan and Bernie won't drop out without doing at least one more debate. Thing is I doubt Joe would show up.
