This ain't a meltdown, this is just an observation

For a stable song, Tuesday is normally bigger than Monday.. however, we're still in a debut week so i say it's OKAY .

BUT, outside ANGLOSPHERE the song's performance is worrying ngl.. after ASIB, i thought she'll smash out of the gate in Europe with a dance pop song..

But whatever, she's doing AMAZING if we look back how tragic her streaming game was.. so yeahh

ALso.. it'll INCREASE tomorrow.. i am planting the seed

I think many in Europe were expecting another Shallow rather than a dance song.

I said that because the song is plastered everywhere but isn’t pulling any special numbers on YouTube, AM, or Spotify.  :awkney:

For a Gaga song, it is pulling special numbers. This is her biggest lead single debut  in nearly a decade. We're looking at a top 3 debut on Billboard rather than a top 15. Even Beyonce probably couldn't do that in 2020.

I think they're going for a Joanne type-of era again, where most of the promotion happens AFTER the album release. Because during the pre-Joanne we didn't had much promo. Like what, a radio tour, a couple of public appearances, and a Dive Bar Tour. The interviews, television appearances, and live performances all started to happen during the album release.

I completely agree, but probably they want the whole album to smash and not just singles hence putting it out earlier idk

I thought they could have learned from Billie Eilish. Her album release was an EVENT precisely because it was hyped by MANY singles since October 2018 with when the party's over and people were eager to finally get the whole project
Selena's and Justin's albums eras feel so over already, they rushed everything and there's absolutely no hype for them

And let's be realistic... artists in the streaming era can't get singles to work if their album is already released (unless they're debut artists bc their work would be unknown and they wouldn't have benefitted from fan effect)

Lmao. This is literally doing so well for her, especially considering she's not a huge streaming force. Imagine what the numbers would be had Shallow not blown up.

I also don 't understand why we should release an album so quickly

- Perfect Illusion :9/9/16
- Joanne : 10/21/16

= 42 days

- Stupid Love : 2/28/20
- Chromatica : 4/10/20

= 42 days

Can someone with chart knowledge kindly compare her to like NRO first week or other female pop release to calm our anxious nerves like shot of whiskey? :vegas:

The insider who spilled about the Ariana collab just posted "4/3"

So they are releasing the 2nd single a week before the album!

I hate to keep repeating myself, but this thread is giving me anxiety. Is SL gonna be top three or not? Top ten at least? Sorry I am not a chartster.

Bloody

Don't forget that MR barely had any playlist exposure and now it's at 422M streams..

SL is doing fine, we shouldn't be worried. if it pulls 3M at least everyday we'll be very good

Ok. So I should have said the numbers it’s doing is good for Gaga but would be considered meh for other artists?  :poot:

Yall are acting like I’m having this big meltdown
