She could have et least commissioned some good SL remixes and release a remix EP: she would have add more stream, it would have take us busy for a while, and it would have given job to people confined at home 

I hope they'll make a move planning at least this kind of promotion, all this silence is unnerving.

I hope to see at least a video or a photo of Gaga by the end of the day, to be honest to the end (at the risk of being too dramatic) I'm starting to worry a bit.

Why the hell do you need to USE this to explain the delay of an album.
Just be real and since you cannot state "I cannot go bankrupt" "Interscope does not want that an my contract mandate me to maximise the profit since how much was invested" just keep it low brow and say just the "I cannot execute it properly", " i don't fell like it is the right time" (even if she said the infamous dance through pain/hard times line, but lets put that on a side for a min)

We ALL know scientist need to find a solution duh. Will her album get in the way in finding solutions? NO

It is just so pretentious and "teacher/messiah" like

Y'all are being so tiring and selfish. Making assumptions about what's going on when you have no clue. You're upset that you're left in the dark but then turn around and act like you know what's going on and how she feels. Stop thinking of her as just an entertainer for a moment and consider her a human being. We're all upset over the virus situation and morale is low. But you expect this woman to put her feelings aside for you and act like it's all okay. You want her to hop on so many promo spots for your own benefit and disregard her own feelings. We have no clue what the contents of the album are aside from SL and possibly Babylon and ROM. What if she doesn't want to put on a brave face and act like it's all okay? What if the most comforting thing for her right now is to be at home and do whatever she needs to do? For all we know she's very sad about how she can't do the promo she had planned. We don't even know what's happening in her personal life and how she's affected by the virus. It's so easy to play the millionaire card, but the photos don't tell the whole story. We have no clue about the health of her relationship with Michael or how her parents are doing. 

 

And with that aside, speaking strictly business, we have no clue what the numbers look like. For all we know she had great pre-order numbers. She already had our money. The postponement does nothing for that besides put those pre-orders at risk due to people who might have to cancel them. Either because they're upset with her or because of their financial situation. Hypothetically if the album is postponed all the way to the not yet cancelled first tour date, that's 115 days from April 10th. That's 115 extra days of sales and streams she could have gotten. I'm not an expert, but I feel like the label and her team did the math on that. To me personally it seems like a smarter move to release as usual FINANCIALLY.  And labels do use the money from an album to finance other projects, so think of the returns on this album including interest. 

 

Just keep that in mind.

If it still comes out in 2020 I don't see it coming before the fall. The Corona situation is nowhere near getting better yet, so if she can't release it now she can't do it in May or probably not even June either.
Experts don't expect Corona to start go down until August as earliest.

Because the fans feel entitled to know everything Gaga is doing. It's a shame that everyone pressures her to document everything she does for everyone. What does she have to backup? That she doesn't feel it's right to do promo?

By postponing the album...

I'm almost positive her postponement was more about figuring out how to do more promo during these trying times than anything else. The weeks before we got the announcement that she was going to delay the album, we got nothing. That isn't a coincidence. It's obvious that she wanted to give us a lot more promo than what we got. She made that clear in her statement by saying that she was going to do Coachella and "many other things". 

I think at this time, she's trying to figure out the best course of action to take. Hopefully that means more online/digital promo as well. If May 15th is indeed the real date, I could see that happening.

Exactly. That's why she postponed it. Maybe she needs time to work on digital/online promo, maybe she needs to schedule dates and stuff for when things eventually go back to normal, etc. We just don't know at this point.

I HATE how they didn't even give a fvck about a virus and didn't do a plan b for it in FEBUARY

Does that excuse the hateful and hurtful messages she's getting though? Look, fans are upset. I get that. Some of y'all are acting like we're not upset either. Everyone's upset and disappointed. The people who are defending her aren't just simply "okay" and complacent with it, we just know how to accept it.

She explained her reasoning. Her announcement was very clear; I don't understand what more you guys want from her.
