Still calling fans who want music entitled? You lost me, not arguing with another ass-kisser. :billie:

Not an ass-kisser, I just opened up the possibilities? I don't want a half-baked era with few promo, I want Gaga to be able to do everything she wants fulfilling HER VISION from HER album that SHE created, she can take whatever decisions she wants with it because it is still hers, it's not ours yet.

Just stop complaining for everything, what's done is done and Gaga will not change plans because of a few gays complaining on the internet. We all have a life, don't let little things like these **** our emotions. :interestinga:

I’d gladly take the risk of losing sales & backlash of releasing during a Pandemic. Fulfill the message of my artist’s album “Dancing through the pain”. And figure out some last minute, lower quality promotional plans. Then later on whenever the pandemic dies down some of the original bigger promo plans can be fufilled.

Ultimately, for Gaga to have such a huge concept and Paper mag editorials, she needs her label. If she could release her work as art without all the capital her label could provide, it won't have all this huge ass promo y'all been thirsty for. It probably won't sound as polished with the visuals as polished and y'all will still drag her.

This. I get delaying the physical albums, but I wouldn’t stop my era. I’d maybe say there’s a delay, but I’d still release a promo song this week, I’d give fans news next week with promo, I’d release maybe another promo single next month until I can get everything straight. I get delaying an album because your plans are cancelled. I don’t get trying to make you fans “focus their attention” on more important things. Halting the very thing most of your fans consider the light in the darkness of all this mess, completely disregarding the message she was promoting at the beginning of the era with the “dancing through the pain” and “I’m back to making music for my fans”... It doesn’t make any sense and she knows that lol.

Exactly!

It’s clear she wants to give us an era and be able to the roll out the album with all of the cool surprises she talked about, and I respect her for that because I think she is doing it with her fans in mind.

It’s probably really heartbreaking for her either way. She has to change stuff around now. But it would’ve been even worse for her I think if she had to stick to the original date and be robbed of everything she wanted to do.

I won’t drag her honey. Stop grouping me with fans that are blaming HER and not HER LABEL.

I mean, who’s to say we aren’t gonna get that though? She said she still has some stuff coming very soon.

Again, if this is true, what’s with all the “we need to focus our attention on what matters” ****? :awkney: She really went on a rant on how music isn’t necessary right now and she doesn’t feel right releasing just so she could do something a week later?

As I said in another thread, there are probably numerous reasons why the virus = delay, and it's not just because of logistics.

It's because the entire culture and theme of this album would not sit well in the world right now.

The theme had messaging around 'cancelling' earth and the album cover APPARENTLY ties into this. I haven't seen it, but it's meant to be 'explosive'.

Reading between the lines, I think it's a shot of Gaga holding Chromatica (the planet) in her hands whilst surrounded by fire and destruction.

Think:

This makes more sense around why she delayed Chromatica.

I think when this calms down that people need to realise that "cancelling" earth and going to Chromatica is escaping reality and going into a figurative world in your mind where you can strap in and dance like there's no tomorrow. It doesn't mean that she wants cancel the earth literally, she just wants to find that escape in all the chaos.

But right now, people are too panicked and too anxious to relax. And thats why she delayed it and "didn't feel right" about releasing it now. I do hope people understand her vision for this era  more when this all settles down, and really understand that Chromatica is state of mind that anyone can go to if they wanted and that this album is centred around that, rather than trying to cancel things in the literal sense on planet earth

Exactly. But some people here are too selfish to understand an artist having a vision. :smh:

I mean let’s be honest that may be part of it but the big reason she didn’t talk about is that physical sales aren’t possible on April 10th :billie:

She even said in the post that she believes music can heal during times like this, and specifically said she didn’t feel comfortable releasing the album at a time like this so I like to think that didn’t rule out a new single or two, or maybe an album cover reveal.

of course I could just be reaching and holding onto hope but I think she wants to continue the era, just not drop the entire album in the middle of the pandemic. Plus Stupid Love is going up the charts now so she’ll have to capitalize:billie:

Honey I’m an artist myself I know exactly what it’s like having a vision. I never blamed her. I always blamed her team & label. They could’ve easily released the album digitally first

She's already been through an era when things didn't go the way she wanted them to and felt miserable for it. She just wanna take the time, come with a better way to promote it (one she'd be satisfied with). I mean you're not the only one who's upset here (tho you act like it), best believe we all are as we were looking forward to it as well. If you could wait +3 years, what the hell is a few months? Especially if it is so that we can have a very exciting (not some random performances in her living room) and well tought out promotional campaign. Which is something most of us have been begging for since ARTPOP!

I get where you’re coming from I just don’t think there’s any logical reason to delay it. You have to take the fall sometimes. It’s dumb and I’m not changing my mind ever on it.
