This is why they are saying Pete is leading the delegate vote while Bernie is leading the popular vote. I thought they only supported the popular vote and that Hilary is the real winner because she won the popular vote? Let's not get mad about how a contested convention could go in several months. It hasn't even happened yet. There is no rigging happening in this primary. I understand it's hard to trust the DNC but like.... They've never literally stolen an election. Even in 2016 it's not like superdelegates were a new thing just to block Bernie. They've made improvements this time. Im not saying superdelegates are created to block Bernie, but I do think it was created long time ago to block Democracy and create loop holes to manipulate elections. The DNC is a private company and they are legally allowed to interfere in elections. This is why nobody calls it rigging but it is. They openly admit there is mathematical mistakes in the Iowa caucus results and openly say they will not fix it! Pete and the DNC openly fund and have ties to the App. They even use random flipping coins to choose who wins.

Buddd those are the rules the candidates agreed to play by! There are something like 5k delegates to be awarded. Sorry that Bernie has failed to decisively win a state! I seriously cannot believe Bernie's supporters are already crying that there is a conspiracy to rig to election against him after TWO states. If anything, this app malfunction hurt Pete. Full stop. This is just nonsense. The IDP royally f*cked up. Let's just chill and move on.

They tried to get rid of them, but some states have it written into their state law. At this time we are stuck with seven of them because of the complexity of the law. Bernie loves them, though. They are all set up on their own weird ass state rules and left to Joe Bob and Billy Sue to do the math to figure out who won. You are attributing malice to situations where stupidity is the guiding factor. One day, we are going to have a Trump and you are going to be thankful for superdelegates. You are preaching to the choir on the electoral college. Imagine a world where we had “tree-hugger” Gore instead of Bush/Cheney or the last three years with an over qualified lady in a pantsuit in the Oval Office. Volunteers didn’t know how to download the app. It was a flawed app. The phone lines were tied up because the number got out. Billy Bob and Betsy Sue thought putting the results in snail mail was a great idea. Some local volunteers didn’t understand the new system and how to do the math. **** happens sometimes with these Caucuses, because they are confusing. Regardless of results, Pete should not have ties and funding a private company responsible for election results while being a candidate. This is a clear conflict of interest, questioning this is not crazy. They openly admit there is alot of mistakes with the results yet they refuse to fix the problem. This is the most powerful and advanced country in the world that always run elections, I dont believe its a mistake. This election looks like 3rd world country democracy. Uninformed, and just sleazy comment here. They are, if there is a plurality instead of a majority which is very likely right now. Stop being condescending and assuming the worst. Plus this change was extremely hard to enact. Check out iTunes data & graphs at CHARTPOP.live

People have already explained this to you. The company makes apps, many of them used for political purposes. Politicians have purchased services from them dating back to Obama when he was running. Pete bought a text messaging app, that had nothing to do with the app they sold to Biden or Gillibrand or Iowa. They are not refusing to fix the problem. The DNC can not run in and change state laws. Caucuses are weird and quirky, but some states want to hold on to them for historical reasons. Two per cent of the pledged delegates have been awarded so far. There are a total of 3,979 delegates in total to be awarded by June the ninth. It is silly to keep harping on 1 or 2 delegates. There is no giant conspiracy in corn country Iowa. By Super Tuesday, you won’t be able to keep up with all the percentages delegates!

What happens in Iowa effects the entire elections in all states and the national polling, so its not a small problem. Pete funded the company and has ties to it, it does not matter if its not the specific app in Iowa. I have no problem with Caucuses, but admitting the results are not accurate then saying they wont fix the problem is weird.

Tulsi Gabbard was forced out before she could endorse Bernie and faced their criticism. Plus, they have refused to correct any remaining errors that were found in Iowa. Additionally, they did closed conventions in the past where they'd just pick a candidate arbitrarily and there were riots against that. Lastly, superdelegates are an issue. They aren't the issue. Bernie lost the 2016 primary even without superdelegates but it's still a big issue that some arbitrary people get such disproportionate voting power. He didn't fund the company. He purchased a product from them. Hundreds of people over many years have “funded the company”. They are doing the recount for what was requested. They can’t go back and make the app work or correct the phone line problem. Maybe four years from now, Iowa will be a state that decides to move to a primary. It is a much smoother and less confusing process to be sure.
