I understood the first time, racial erasure to limit PR damages, yes. The ad actually tried to show how absurd it is to claim sense of belonging and heritage only from an ethnic criteria. Just imagine that this guy was probably born and raised in Sweden. He might have been nestled in nordic tales, played with drakkar legos as a kid and possibly became ultra proud of that heritage. Most white people in Scandinavia, don't even descent from vikings. I know one politician from my country, has said that our government should reprimand them to make sure that they are never going to make a similar commercial again. All countries have taken something from other countries, especially in europe, where so many different cultures live in a relative small place, and have fighted many wars, languages got mixed, new were formed etc. but you don't go and say to a nation "you are nothing!", cause that's what i got from the video.
