HorusRa2 5,005
Seems so. https://thenevadaindependent.com/article/nevada-democrats-debut-to-volunteers-new-ipad-based-tool-to-calculate-math-on-caucus-day-in-the-wake-of-iowa-fiasco So, we’re getting a pre-loaded “tool” and not an app. And the Nevada Democratic Party took someone who worked on Pete’s campaign as recent as this month to be the, “Voter Protection Director,” for the Nevada Democratic Party. For some of my friends on GGD, this is just a coincidence but this is actually a conflict of interest at the very least and at the very worst corruption and election fraud. ItsTommyBitch 12,640
Obvious conflict of interest is obvious. Fun quotes: In the video, a party staffer tells volunteers that the new mechanism “is not an app” but should be thought of as “a tool.” ~~~ Asked by a volunteer how results would be transmitted from one place to another, the staffer demurred. “Those are all excellent questions, and we’re still working out some of the details around those so I’ll make sure that everyone has more information as we’re able to share it,” she said. In interviews, volunteers said they received little information at the training beyond a rough outline of how the tool is supposed to function. They also were unsure how the party plans to carry out its four-day early voting period, which previously relied on the use of an app to capture people’s preferences.
Harris Walz 2024 1,451
It's very likely that anyone they put in this position is going to be affiliated with one of the campaigns. I honestly wish it was Bernie's so we don't have to deal with the incoming conspiracy theories. I think his supporters just get bored and this is what we get. I would have the same outrage if it were Bernie’s staffer. People in positions like this should not have been participating in any campaign from this cycle. Period. Retracted bc it’s the right thing to do.

Yes, i agree, an unaffiliated person would have been great.
Buddy 5,686
Probably! The DNC don't care about their reputation anymore. They are prepping to go scorched Earth, and so are we. Whether Bernie wins or loses, we are going to destroy them once and for all, and I bet that makes them terrified.

No ones terrified that you don't trust the process or the system or the voters to make the right choice for themselves.

To kill the monster from the inside out. We sadly live in a 2-party system. Until the day it changes. For now, we work with what we got. And no, the whole party isn’t corrupt. Just those big heads running it. The people know what’s up, and they’re tired af.

Actually we have a multi-party system. There's Libertarian, Green, etc, etc. Ross Perot ran an effective 3rd party candidacy. Perhaps he just doesn't want to put the work in on his revolution. Bernie isn't corrupt? His entire campaign is focused on ending the increasing oligarchy, getting money and special interests out of politics and bringing real democracy back to the people. He has been fighting for this for the past 40 years. Bernie supporters seek to radically reform the party into one that isn't bought or corrupt. Or maybe he just liked to reap the benefits of being a pseudo Democrat and didn't have the courage to start his own party 40 years ago.
