So for him to claim victory... the thing is, he could be claiming victory about any number of things - the first alignment, the final alignment, the total delegate count, the number of precincts won... The fact that he would give that speech anyway, probably pre-written tbf, but with no addendums... It shows a lot about his character to me. I'm disgusted tbh. I am not saying Pete is a dictator, but this is EXACTLY the kind of thing that fascists do when they assume control over countries after overtaking democratic elections. It's really, really gross, and seeing him do that, right on the heels of Trump's attorney basically arguing that Trump can do w.e he want if he personally thinks its in the best interest of the country... Iowans know that calculators have been invented, right?
