Do I really have to remind you? You want to twist this from an endorsement to political defection, when the facts show: 12% of Bernie supporters defected to Trump. 15% of Clinton supporters defected to McCain Oh but according your talking point, Bernie supporters are so uniquely terrible... Statements don’t mean **** when you don’t follow through on them Wtf does him saying HE will support a candidate no matter who it is have anything to do with who supporters end up voting for? (Which, btw, Bernie campaigned and rallied for Hillary at countless events in 2016 so what is this nonsense about following through??) More Hillary voters in 2008 voted for McCain than Bernie voters voted Trump. But this is beside the point. These are completely different topics. We're discussing whether a candidate commits to supporting the nominee. Not who supporters vote for in the general. How convenient that you bring up an entirely different topic, and one that's about a small number of Bernie supporters and not Bernie the candidate, when that's who we're actually talking about. I mean honestly, the mental gymnastics and straws you Bernie haters will grasp at to dismiss and undermine him is comical at this point. Especially since you always have to bring up the small percentage of some emphatic supporters since you can't go after Bernie the candidate for the ridiculous statements yall try to make

I take that with a bit if a grain of salt because that's not the ONLY factor to consider here U also gotta factor in the votes he'd loose from centrists who'd rather vote from Trump than a Left Wingers that would offset some of the higher turnout to get an actual full picture Although someone did point out that since he's by far the most popular among independents it may more than make up for any centrist voters he looses Guess we will just have to see Ehhh... I would only consider voting blue if Biden was the nominee, otherwise I'm voting Republican. I know it's controversial on this site (and it is among the majority of my friend group in real life as well), but they understood me not supporting a candidate that isn't Biden. I personally don't agree with too many of Bernie and Warren's policies and I don't think Pete is ready yet.

Trump was a fake populist in 2016 and if you don’t realize how powerful that is in this moment in time, then you really do align with the corporatists of the Democratic Party. By all means, vote for Biden or Buttigieg or even Bloomberg. Think about your vote in 20-30 years when you realize you ****ed up.
bloom 286
Uh, Bernie took FOREVER to endorse Hillary. His silence was deafening. Long after he lost he wouldn't even concede to losing. bloom 286
Also Bernie has been in politics for over 40 years. That old man IS the establishment, and don't you ever get it twisted, kiddos.
WhoAskedOpinions 658
As a conservative, seeing the lack of unity in those on the left is shocking. I would think that if you are set on voting out Trump, you would vote blue regardless of who the Democratic candidate is. It is foolish to either not vote or write in another candidate if you truly want to win the election.
