That will be a steep hill. The other Southern states arenât as closely intertwined, but there is a history there. But...AA have historically voted as a block, more so than any other group. They are pragmatic voters and there number one concern is beating the current white nationalist President. Itâs turning into an interesting race, thatâs for sure! For sure. He's currently at around 40+ percent. And while they aren't exactly monolithic, I agree with what you said. They are pragmatic voters and will only back who they think can win. If over time Biden continues to prove how unfit he is for the presidency and Pete continues to prove how fit he is, and also if he wins/finishes top 3 in Iowa and NH, the dynamics of the race will shift drastically. Also, because of this recent surge, I fully expect him to be attacked in the next debate. But I'm pretty sure he will be ready. His greatest ability is that he can think quickly on his feet. That sets him apart from others. "I was protected by the monks of Azarath, I was raised by my friends. They are my family, this is my home and you are not welcome here." RAMROD 117,008
We stan Boot Edge Edge! People are converting views out there too. And lots of them are ex Bernie supporters circa 2016, including myself.  We know the stake is too high right now. Bernie was good for 2016 but not 2020, especially majority of his current supporters mentality thinks he deserved 2020 presidency because he is owed to it. He isn't. It is a strong evidence that most of Bernie 2016 supporters are supporting anyone other than Bernie right now. Be it Pete, Kamal, Yang, Warren, or anyone. Sanders is held to a totally unfair standards by his supporters. He can vote against stuffs like CHIP and defends him as, " he shouldn't compromise his belief!", but when you point out something like he voted for Crime Bill that everyone hates now, they'll say, "well he had to compromise his belief in that case!" Also how they "forgetting" that Sanders voted against CHIP (Children's Health Insurance Program), that The Clintons got through the Senate after unsuccessfully trying to pass universal health care in the 90s. On which that dumb and misinformed AOC trying to giving Sanders credit for, when it was actually Hillary's big achievement. Also, those old picture of him that kept spread around, so often that it gets more and more pixelated each time it get reposted, when he standing up for gay rights or whatever. Lest their supporters know or pretend not to, that Sanders was against same sex marriage in 2006 when asked if Vermont should legalize gay marriage. And Sanders answers "no, not after what went through", and he was not publically changes his stance until 2009. And their supporters would defended him that at least he change. But on the other hand would attack the other candidates with the same narrative about their sketchy past for being against Gay marriage. Proving that they're just like the rest, who puttin in narrative that benefits them, or where it is convenient, to maker l their candidate look better, when he also got skeletons in his closet, if their supporters try hard enough to dig it up. Funny. Especially when there is an actually a gay man running for president now, not some career Boomer politicians who wanted presidency as the cherry on top to close their career on. We can't continue treating Presidency like a career achievement Award. That just isn't a mistake we afford to make right now. No, Ma'am! Maybe focus on that instead of name-calling on the internet? Sweetie, at least do some research before making such ridiculous statements. I am not a Putin supporter by any means, but Yeltsin and Putin have transitioned Russian into a capitalist country. It has nothing to do with communism anymore. Of course, there are still plenty of old folks who feel nostalgic about communism, but the younger generation is more liberal and chooses to stay away from it. The opposite is happening in America. More younger people fall for propaganda pushed by 'democratic socialist' Bernie Sanders while older voters reject him. I really hope that boomers will be able to pull through in 2020 as well.

That's the only part I agree with. Bernie isn't a communist ffs. He calls himself a democratic socialist also. There's a huge difference between the two. Yes, but Pete Buttigieg is a decent candidate for the Democratic Party compared to Warren, Sanders, and other left-wing extremists who infiltrated the party. Plus, him winning the nominations would do wonders for improving the image of gay people around the globe who are stereotypically associated with drug-filled pride orgies by the general public.

As days keep passing, he's becoming a more viable contender for the nomination. First openly gay President of the United States. A dream, literally a dream.  I'm LIVING Do you also support his policies or just the fact that he's gay?
