Exactly. In no way it’s BTW. Her voice is clearly very recent and even though it sounds retro; the production seems modern and very bloodpop. It doesn’t sound like a BloodPop production to me, because those screams are just her vocals chopped and lowered in semitones. The production matches BTW era more than anything in my opinion. It could have been a later made song especially since Gaga started working on ARTPOP in 2011. This mutual gaze was a “longing to touch” or a "pre-coitus" stare.
