Fresco 1,688
She needs to have a few jingles for Haus labs. But on the next album, I hope it's a good mix of dance pop and ballads.

TheMiddleGround 3,268
Who said anything about dance pop? Dance pop has been dead in the water for years now. LG6 Will be progressive techno / Metal with other influences. She is creating a new genre.
derpmonster 22,412
Please. Even the Gee Pee misses that and talks about it all the time There's a reason she chose that for her first album despite being a rock woman. Also, her albums will always be pop till she's with Interscope. They may have other influences but... And the last time techno influence didn't go well with the GP even though I love it (Born This Way). Good thing she can make bops good enough to revive dance music like she did in 2008. AJRocketMan 2,684
I don’t think she should do rock music anymore. You do know there are plenty of ways to evolve while sticking to your signature sound? In Gaga’s case, it’s club music. Look at Madonna, Michael Jackson, and David Bowie. They have evolved wonderfully (numerous times) while sticking to their core sound. If they can do it, then Gaga can too. Especially if she wants to be seen as a legend on par with them (which she isn’t). So yes, Gaga can stick to club music, and she has plenty to gain from it. I don’t think she’s even released her best albums yet.

But like I said, I enjoy Gaga's songwriting and vocal talents so much that whatever she releases, I will eat it up. But I seriously doubt Gaga has much to gain in her career if she releases some dance bops for homos. But that remains to be seen, I'm not saying I'm right, but those are my thoughts regardless. Tragically... LG6 was probably done before Shallow popped off... she’s going ✈️ album abortion yet again

BTW and ARTPOP are esentially dance-pop record with various influences and Joanne was pop/ soft rock but still had plenty dance tracks, we also had I Want Your Love, The Cure, the dance pop tracks from ASIB. To imply that dance-pop is an inferior genre is odd to see on Lady Gaga forum. I agree 🤢 imagine calling most of your own faves discography inferior. How aren’t you a stan of someone after only one album like... whatever it’s not that serious
Danjajr 619
Why the hatred towards Pop music, OP? Lady Gaga the brand is established with pop music. What do you mean by it not getting her anywhere? She is a pop legend, she creates pop music. What’s so wrong about the genre?

Whether that translates into radio hits is not something she can really control, nor am I interested in hearing something from her that is calculated specifically to be a radio hit. I can generally only manage 10 minutes listening to pop radio before having to switch it, so I really don't care if she does radio hits. I need a Gaga Piano Industrial Metal album.
