According to sources close to the 34-year-old McCain, who is said to make something under a million dollars a year on the highly rated daytime program, she is emotionally drained, angry, and isolated—“feeling like a caged animal,” said one McCain intimate—amid a spate of negative publicity.

Much of this has appeared on the popular website of the Daily Mailthat has portrayed her as entitled, unreasonable, “manic,” and self-obsessed—a “petulant child,” given to “crying fits” when she’s roasted on social media.

She feels “so exhausted and defeated,” said a knowledgeable source, after her two seasons of discontent.

“It’s getting to the point where it’s not worth the emotional toll every week,” said a McCain pal, who asked not to be further identified. “If she doesn’t stay at The View, she will find other work.”

Cant they atleast bring a real republican? even when they bring a republican, they have to be an anti Trump republican like McCain  or a Libertarian republican like Jedediah. When Elizabeth was on that show it was really interesting because there was different points of view even though I HATE her.

She sort of brings it upon herself. I watch The View every day, and a lot of the times, she acts like she's the victim in many scenarios. I actually tolerated, and dare I say, liked her at first because some of the things she said made sense, but as time went on, it was just getting annoyed and tired.

She called herself the "sacrificial Republican", and that just annoyed me so much. She acts like being a Republican is the reason why people don't like her, and while that is probably a factor (considering much of the audience and the rest of the cast is liberal), that's not the reason. Ana Navarro's a Republican, but she's well received on the show. Meghan's just annoying.

Ana and McCain do not represent what the republican party is today, they belong more with the old republican party that are elite neocons from the bush and McCain era. Notice how they are both pro war like Bush and McCain while the republican party today are anti war. Neocon republicans are hated by republicans today.
