It does look terrible (and she's dumb to not realize how insensitive it looks and how it can be seen out of context)—but I think it's worth keeping in mind that this is allegedly way out of context. Edited: Oops—so I just saw the clip and it's different from the one with stripes that I thought it was—yikes. She painted herself black to blend into a black wall while performing—so f*cking stupid. Ironically, she posted something way worse than what her fans were using to defend her. Again, I think she thought it was an artistic concept to paint herself into a wall and didn't realize what it could come across like but it is still a big yikes.
