Ugh first of all I never say "yasss queen", second of all I would still say it's a stupid move if she premieres it at a private gig, how would it not be? at you assuming I'd change my mind like you know me. And Perfect Illusion premiered on the radio. The first performance was in a bar yes (with HD footage and fans in attendance), but this is not the same thing as a bunch of random people hearing it at a corporate event for the first time. Just to make a point here: There is a lot to be said for playing music live before putting it on an album. One can get an audience reaction and see if the music is something people will appreciate. By doing it in a semi-private place (e.g. a bar), one can get a sense of how their song works, hopefully without the song becoming public.
