Gaga never promised anything.

Preach. Gaga made one tweet, and a few producers followed up on the same day and after she tweeted. Some of those producers work with other musicians, too, so they aren't even necessarily "teasing" Gaga. And let's be honest: Bloodpop comes off childish af, but people bombarding his replies every time he posts come off just as bad.

People act like this is some cryptic plan where Gaga is controlling/telling everyone what to tweet just to f*ck with everyone—even though Gaga once said fans read too much into things at times and also has expressed her dislike of social media. Not to mention, people have their own lives and don't have to ask permission from Gaga to tweet a photo of her in the studio—h*ll, Gaga may not even be aware of it.

And those Eli Russell photos that everyone keeps claiming were a big tease...couldn't they have just been outtakes from Enigma?

Gaga used to promise ish and not follow up, I'd rather her do some vague tweet than go back to her old habits. If you look at how other artists tweet, tease, and how long they take for new albums, Gaga isn't doing anything unusual or taking a long time.

It's okay, but to feel entitled and basically say we NEED an album isn't.

Also, she bearly got pregnant with LG6 last month, so your early to the hospital :laughga:

It's not unusual for any of us to be annoyed by the absolute avoidance of news :air: she never "promised" us any albums before but clear as day we've had reasons to get hyped :toofunny:

If any other artists did things like that random photoshoot their fanbase would also expect somethings coming..

Y’all are overreacting as usual honestly. Draging other fans is not a good look. No one. Literally NO ONE in that thread said anything seriously hateful or rude. We just have some fun and that’s it. It’s not that serious. Threads like this are made for some fans to feel better than other fans and to drag them. Well sorry to tell you but we are in this together and you’ll have to accept that! :coffee:

Here's the thing: why do people think the Eli Russell photos were random? He worked on Enigma—couldn't they have just been outtakes, especially when you consider when they were posted?

If Gaga had tweeted a bunch of ish like she did back in the day, I would people being annoyed. But she really hasn't done any of that and people are acting like she's behind every tweet that Bloodpop does.

Also, think of it this way: in three years, Gaga has released Joanne, done a tour, half of a Vegas residency, filmed a movie, written and recorded a soundtrack, a festival, the Superbowl, a documentary, and has obviously worked a lot on LG6. Compare it to other pop girls, and it's lot. Now if Gaga still hasn't released after October, which would be the three year anniversary of when Joanne was released, then I would get the anxiety....

Then why wouldn't she just caption that and save her and her producers and team all the LM harassment :air:

Ummm well I've been a fan since 09 and "back in the day" if she did what she was doing now it'd end up with music actually coming out hence why some of us think that's what's gonna happen now :air:

If the release is actually planned for that late then why the **** are they all posting cryptic stuff now? :air: the original TEOG video teas, so much hype and by the time it comes out it isn't what it was hyped to be and people lost interest either way :emma:

We just view it differently, I guess. I don't think the tweet plus the Eli Russell photos back from August mean she's posting a bunch of cryptic stuff—and I think some of the "teases" by producers aren't necessarily teases about Gaga (or if they are, it's just them sharing, possibly without Gaga's knowledge, and not meant to whip the fans up). And I think there's an argument to be made that the pregnant with LG6 tweet was to get it across that the ASIB era was over and she moved on to new music, and that she wasn't hung up on ASIB or BCoop since the tabloids kept fixating on all of it—not necessarily to hype up new music coming out right away. Getting stuck with the Jennifer Aniston/Angelina Jolie narrative in the tabs is not a good thing, and that was where it was going for a while after the Oscars.

I get what you mean about '09—I'm talking more about post BTW- ARTPOP era where there were a lot of promises that weren't ever followed through on.

As far as the caption, maybe she just didn't even think of it? I mean, she's expressed that she's tired of social media and she's never been the most social media savvy. And I seriously think the social media blackout makes a certain sort of sense....did you see the Buzzfeed article wrongly dragging Ariana Grande because of the behavior of some of her fans all based of one errant tweet by her? Celebrities are (wrongly, imo) getting accused of dragging people or encouraging the worst of the stans based off of any random tweet, so it's probably not worth it to tweet much anymore. There's a reason few big singers tweet anymore, imo, when a lot used to be active.
