The people you’re referring to on this website seem to be a small handful of people and aren’t representative of the fanbase as a whole. I doubt Gaga discussing race more would make them less bigoted.

If even progressives gay gaga fans disagree with you, maybe your opinion is extremely unpopular and wrong. Playing into the SJW game and identity politics and politicizing everything is why people dont want to deal with this. At the end, it will just backfire on Gaga and she will be called a privileged white woman who thinks she can talk on behalf of minorities.

You have to put things into perspective: 

Gaga has confronted the racial issue, even on her last album Joanne- Angel down was about the injustice of cops killing innocent black men. 

But- Gaga and Beyonce are different in their steps of life. Beyonce is a black woman. It makes more sense for her to speak on racial issues, considering she, before being famous and having millions of dollars, was probably the victim of some sort of racial inequality. 

Gaga is a white woman, who Is from New York. Her friends, career, style, has all been brought up by gay men- and her biggest audience is gay men. She has said she is not a member of the LGBT and has no idea what it feels like to be in that, but will alway proudly stand up and support the community, since the community has done the same to her. Gaga being a white woman, has done the appropriate steps of confronting racial issues. SHe hasn't gone overboard, but she has clearly shown her stance on several issues and even wrote about it in her album

That's all she really needs to do.

Gaga did more than enough when she wrote btw and she risks her career for that.

honestly, it's so easy to flash with the "I'm strong poc person, look what I achieved" while the majority can barely pay for food or get a scholarship because they don't have the same opportunities as white people.

So sorry, Gaga shouldn't be involved, there are enough artists who lives inside the poc communities and knows what's going on, that can and actually must speak about it in their music, but they choose different shallow subjects to speak about.

Is this true? I'm shocked. I knew racism in America was messed up but not to the point to barely being able to pay for food or get a scholarship. I knew that having an afro was undesirable. At the time time that shocked me too. In my country I never heard of that happening. People kinda find afros cool and good looking

People think afro is cool in America but if you go to your job with an afro, they wont take you seriously and this is a worldwide issue.  Black people say this is their natural hair so they dont have to change it to be accepted into work or professional spaces.

I was actually quoting her from when she was On Rupaul and She talked to the queens about where she fits in with the community, and how important it is for her to give back support to the LGBTQ community. She sums it up pretty well there.

The last time she extended her arms to other social issues, the SJWs on Twitter ripped her apart and made it seem like she was using them. Then when she asked to be more educated, she was called ignorant etc.  

I know she means well, but she’s not the warrior for that community. I love that she wants equality for all humankind, but sometimes you have to pick a team. From the getgo she sided with lgbt/gender/etc rights, and if she takes on too many issues she’d be seen as pandering. To this day, we have a LOT of lgbt people who don’t see her fight for that community as genuine.

I think she could bring it up in interviews here and there, but music and album themes? Hell NO.

It might sound too contrived if she does it explicitly. She can hint at it like she does but making something entirely about that when her own life experiences possibly don't come close to what poc in America face is not gonna look good. It may be perceived as cashing out on someone's struggles without even living through them. 

About race not mattering, yeah ideally. But we can't pretend problems don't exist. Racism is an issue. We can't close our eyes and say "yeah no, not an issue anymore"

She’s thoroughly explored her own heritage and race and I hope she continues to do so. She’s in no place to lecture about non-white issues. 

Also progressive doesn’t equal pro-black/anti-white.
