I’m glad people are going for groen tho. I’m considering it too I don't get why people vote for him. Everything he says is bullshit, like him being an independent member. The worst thing is that younger people, especially males see him as a role model, it's just disgusting

Neroneau 1,017
so guys, i did some counting for the royal parliament: 150 seats, 76 majority keeping in mind CDH party said they wouldn't form a pact with NV-A, Open VLD and MR have ruled out both extreme right (VB) and extreme left parties (PTB/PVDA). And NV-A also has ruled out the extreme right, erm edit NVA changed their stance a bit.... Coalition arc-en-ciel: open vld, mr, ps, spa, groen, écolo and défi = 74 seats coalition sanitair: open vld, mr, nv-a, cd&v = 64 seats coalition olivier: ps, spa, cdh, cd&v, ecolo, groen (défi) = 66 seats (68) coalition tripartite: open vld, mr, défi, spa, ps, cd&v, cdh, écolo, groen = 95 seats coalition rouge: ps, spa, cd&v, cdh ,ptb/pvda = 57 coalition violette: ps, spa, mr, open vld, défi (cd&v, cdh)= 56 (73) coalition turqoise: mr, open vld, ecolo, groen = 48 coalition jamaïcaine: mr, open vld, cdh, cd&v, défi, groen, écolo = 68 coalition orange sanguine: mr, open vld, cd&v, cdh, défi, spa, ps = 74 coalition suédoise #1: mr, open vld, nv-a, cd&v (défi) (+groen!?) (+écolo!?)= 64 (68) (76) (89) coalition suédoise #2, nva, vb, open vld, cd&v = 67 coalition jaune et noir: nv-a, vb = 43 So every party will have to get creative. Open vld/MR (défi) and groen/écolo have a bargain power that should not be underestimated open vld and mr have done a lot of effort to be perceived as an eco-friendly party, they consider themselves centrist leaning more to the right, but both have committed to plenty of climate targets ... Défi is also centrist but rathers be more associated with the left (in the last Brussels elections Défi didn't want to join VLD/MR because they could easily peasily make a majority with PS

Sepsami 20,982
Sad thing is, if almost 20% of the people voted VB they can't keep ignoring that party, that's 1/5th of Belgium voters Ignoring them wouldn't be democracy
