Which has nothing to do with her always being more successful than him. She had a more successful career when they met and solidified her acting career with AHS. She had a successful singing career before meeting him and winning a Golden Globe + getting a major role in a movie that would most likely be a major commercial and critical success would put her above him in the acting field, in which he was once above her with his B-list TV show. The issue, again, is that she always outshined him with an acting career or not. His jealousy was evident years before she ever tried her hand at acting professionally.
