The UK did pay Joanne absolute dust though tbf and I don’t blame them after they chose the horrid Perfect Illusion as the first single. I shaded PI rightfully so because it was a terrible single choice. After that single, the momentum for the whole era died and I can’t fathom to understand why they thought releasing it as a single was a good idea.
