Joanne IS Ally Campana

So I have this theory that Gaga created the 'Joanne' persona to get into the Ally character.

As we know, Ally Campana is just a 'regular italian girl' that loves his father even if he can be a little rough at her sometimes. We don't get to know her mother so it leads us to think she lost her and her life could've been very affected by the lost of her relative. She's probably from somewhere in the middle of the US.

She works at a restaurant and sings jazz standards at night. Scratching the restaurant thingy, you could say this was Gaga in 2015. Singing standards with Tony Bennett worldwide. Has been declared "over" for a lot of the media and general public, lost part of her self confidence, uses nothing but her talent to entertain, goes on semi draggy-look to belt out 'La Vie in Rose', etc.

Then in 2016 during the Joanne commercial campaign, Gaga kept repeating herself in interviews: "I kept envisioning this girl in the middle of the country somewhere crying her eyes out in the field with a drink in her hand and her kid in the other," until she then realized it was her all this time. This for me, is when Gaga realizes her character Ally Campana is now part of her and is ready to portrait her in the movie.

Vulture called Lady Gaga’s Joanne as "a Slightly Frustrating Mix of Country and EDM" which is funny because it very well sums up Ally's character development. From country/rock to full EDM.

The Cure is an interesting case to look at because she surprise released the song and didn't even make a video for it. She just put it out there and let it hanging on by itself. I feel like Gaga put it out so her Joanne/Ally character rise to fame could feel genuine to her. Even if The Cure wasn't the blockbuster single, it was a step out of the Joanne era, and even the Gaga brand itself. Some fans called out Gaga for not sounding like herself and even "selling out". Sounds familiar?

Ally has now dyed her hair color and is now worldwide famous.

It makes sense in a way but Joanne story is much more deeper. But yep, maybe she got inspired by reading the ASIB script while also writing for Joanne album

tbh I think a lot of this is a reach, however, I think the thing that makes sense is The Cure part.

To this day, I'm still not really sure why exactly she released it, or if it has any connection with ASIB. It could be as simple as her releasing it because she just wanted to have fun and release some new material, but I think it's also interesting to consider the fact that it could be related to ASIB. Not only does it sound like something that would come from Ally post-Rez, but I also think that the theory that the woman on the single cover is Ally, as opposed to Gaga, because of the brown hair is really interesting as well. The fact that a lot of people here called Gaga a sellout because she released a single that sounded like that is also really interesting because it reflects exactly what Jackson said.

The Cure was written by Ally for Jackson. Meaning Ally wrote it to support Jackson with his addiction and him getting help with it, she doesn’t know how to cure him so she’ll try to fix him with her love.  nailed it
