A-YO will hit 50M in the coming weeks, DH 30M. 4 songs over 50M streams, 7 over 30M and soon to be every track on the album 20M+. It did that with only 1 single, local sound and almost no promo outside the states, a streaming album

Whether they actually do it I'm doubtful, but it would be a real waste of the album not to push at least two more singles from it. Gaga has never had album tracks chart as well as I'll Never Love Again and Always Remember Us This Way are doing. It's not like Joanne where we were begging for a third single even though nothing left on the album was realistically going to become a hit. There are literally two songs waiting there to smash.

INLA has racked up far more views that MR had by this time, as its not even been pushed yet! 

That said, I agree they should wait until at least after Christmas to push the next song, pushing anything new now it would simply get caught in the Christmas freeze and be a complete waste. 

Ideally, they'd do the following:

Single 1 - Shallow, push as the main single through until January, and keep pushing it as the main contender for awards after.

Single 2 - INLA, sent to radio early January as Shallow is clearly dead, allowing it to build momentum until its proper push. Start pushing it on Spotify playlists, keeping it at bay on TTH until after awards when Shallow will be truly done. Perform INLA at least one of the awards, then push it into the top ten on TTH. Make one of the versions album only on iTunes to help its charting.

Single 3 - ARUTW, this can wait until after INLA is done, as its clearly the more radio friendly of the two, meaning it wont be reliant on a big performance like INLA and MR to get it going. Probably push about April sort of time.

Single 4 - Music to My Eyes; HAC, AC and Country Radio only. If it doesn't get a video I'm fine with that. Its just a cute song that deserves exposure, and could do well with an adult audience. This is only optional though, providing the previous two singes also do well. 

I think following this plan could at least get two more US top tens out of the era, and even better worldwide. All the songs need is fuller playlist support and that radio exposure. They're literally waiting to smash. I doubt it will happen though, they'll probably push Shallow through awards and leave the era unfortunately.

P.s. those saying performing Shallow at the Oscars might get it a re-peak are delusional. Joanne didn't even chart after the Grammys last year, and TIHTY went in at like #90. 

Shallow was already a cute multi-week top ten in the US, and a no.1 smash globally, its time to move on to another single.

If Shallow takes off on radio... then I think Shallow is going for a true ride until the Oscars and it'll become Gaga's best performing song since Telephone

Not if TEOG, Alejandro, BTW and Applause exist. They all probably have more points because they spent way more time in the top 10 but we'll see. I wouldn't mind Shallow being her performing single since Telephone

Truly impressed at how Shallow is holding on on the Global Top 50 on Spotify, despite the film slowing down, despite the US not being here for it...
