It’s been almost 4 years since this song was released and I still cry every time I listen to it but this performance has something the original version doesn’t. I would love if someone could add the “I thought you were” lines at the end of the official version and also the vocal message at the beginning (even though it’s already in the music video). But those last lines just get right to my heart. I have an emotional connection to this song and my brain connects to it a guy I used to have a crush on (but that’s a story for another time).
