So basically 10 predictors have come up with a list for all categories, and I'm gonna summarise it for you, but you're free to check out the links I attach below for full information. Best Picture - A Star Is Born 5 out of 10 place it at #1, all other predictors place it within top 5. https://www.nextbestpicture.com/best-picture.html Best Director - Bradley Cooper 5 out of 10 place it at #1, all other but one predictor place it within top 5. https://www.nextbestpicture.com/best-director.html Best Actor - Bradley Cooper 5 out of 10 place it at #1, all other but one predictor place it within top 5. https://www.nextbestpicture.com/best-actor.html Best Actress - Lady Gaga 2 out of 10 place her at #1, 4 other place her at #2, all predictions are within top 5. https://www.nextbestpicture.com/best-actress.html Best Supporting Actor - Sam Elliott 4 out of 10 place him at #1, all predictions are within top 5. https://www.nextbestpicture.com/best-supporting-actor.html Best Original Song All predictions' #1 choice is A Star Is Born, 7 predictions think A Star Is Born will likely have two nominations. https://www.nextbestpicture.com/best-original-song.html A Star Is Born is also included in categories such as Best Film Editing, Best Sound Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Sound Mixing. If the predictions (including those made earlier) turn out to be true, A Star Is Born could rank amongst the most-nominated films at the 91st Academy Awards with about 8 to 10 nominations. If she were to win Best Actress, she needs to surprise us in a good way with her acting performance. I actually don't care if she wins Actress or not cause some of the most acclaimed actors like Leonardo DiCaprio took years to win one, and apparently Amy Adams hasn't won one. The Bodyguard soundtrack had nominations in AOTY, ROTY, and Best Pop Vocal Performance and won two out of three of those. Has anyone in history ever won Best actress for their first lead role? I think we should be ecstatic if she gets the best actress nom.
