A Hybrid

Is even more unbalanced than The Fame. While it has her best songs Yoü And I and The Edge Of Glory, it also has really cheap songs

-"Born This Way," the actual song, is one of my least favorite tracks of the album.  Love the message and all that, so I understand why it's important to so many people ... But I think the track is overproduced, so it doesn't sound all that great to me.

-"Hair" is far too cheesy for me to enjoy ... Same with "The Queen"

-"Fashion of His Love" and "Electric Chapel" are criminally underrated.

-While I adore "Heavy Metal Lover" and "Schiesse," I completely disagree with the majority of the fanbase who insists that they would have made good singles. They aren't radio friendly.

-The cover of the album was a huge mistake.  Absolutely terrible.

-I could listen to "Edge of Glory" and "You & I" all day, every day. Those are Gaga's best songs ever.

So many things to say.

BTW lyrics were completely confusing, so first degree (my best friend at the time and Gaga confident hated them) and I never heard Express yourself this is so ludicrous feud... Then the remix of Scheisse and GH gave us experimental vibes, smothered by the kinda cheesy TEOG (I remember hearing it on a phone for the first time, bad idea).

Finally it's much more complex than it seems, it's so full of passion like MTN, darkness and joyful spirit at the same time, Clarence kinda saved TEOG and Hair (lyrical genius song)

Amen Fashion revealed itself live, at the BTWball tour clearly

I first hated only The Queen, that I love now

This whole record is bold, And I think it's the point were people start to turn their back on G. She was too bold.

Electric Chapel is one of my favs too!

Hair is bad n childish imo..

Its her best album by far.. 💣

Judas was dropped as a single because it performed very poorly, not because of a little monster made up "controversy" that APPARENTLY happened, even though 90% of the fans who say this happened weren't actually Gaga fans at the time...

Highway unicorn is one of the best songs on the album

bjaf had the potential to be great but the chorus sucks

you and I is the best song of the entire album and it should be recognized. TEOG and MTN are close tho

HML is good but overrated

Stuck On ****in' You fully deserved a place on the album.

Fashion Of His Love is obscenely underrated

The Queen's ending was too drawn out

Marry The Night would've been a better lead single than Born This Way

Also not sure if this one is unpopular but the fact that there's no uncensored version of some of the songs really throws me off

Edit: Also wanted to add that Hair sounded so much better acoustic

I think it was entirely intentional, though. It’s supposed to loud, brash, and harsh. I get why you don’t like it, but I think if they really were going for that sound they succeeded very well in their intention (especially with MTN, though that one sounds as it does because of the very rough vocal equipment used to record her vocal tracks which, again, may have been intentional as she wanted it to give the energy of TMB). I think it was actually quite methodical but definitely not made to sound “pretty” which, again, I totally get if you don’t like it since it can be very harsh.

I dont think its intentional. It would be grest if it was.

There are some huge issues on the album and you can clearly see they recotded most of it not in a professionak studio and had to improvise to balance out new tracks and vocals.

Though it seems they were aware and went with it. Still it would have been better starting from scratch redoing. This album needed one more year for completion.

BTW is Gaga's best album, and I don't know if she can top it (maybe the 'experimental' ARTPOP Act II could have . . . ). I'm saying this as someone who's been on GGD since TF era.
