She used to approach fashion in an artful way. It used to be inelegant, funny, biting, interesting, and challenging. The last few years have basically seen that artfulness disappear. Tho I must agree, her fashion is pretty basic lately. I feel like any other popstar dresses like this. Also, her recent fashion, while sometimes great, has been so over the place. I wish it was more consistent like back in the day. Where it was pretty easy to see her distinct looks for a particular single era for example. On the other hand maybe she's just having fun while going to the studio and I'd rather have her focus on the music than the way she looks for now. Her arrival at hotels, airports, and recording studios were are as much a performance for her as whatever she does on the stage. Life is a runway.
