And if she actually gets nominated with ASIB, she can probably win considering how weak this year really is. Gaga definitely needs to release something this year. It'll be less rigged. Basically the Academy Voters pick top 20 albums every year. Those 20 albums will go to a listening session by the secret committee, which will then vote anonymously to pick TOP 5 albums to be nominated (often times a consensus is reached before vote). In the last years, Gaga most likely made it to Top 20 for Album Of The Year, especially with Joanne, but the Academy certainly chose not to nominate it to give room for Urban Artists instead.
