I hate this demo, and This Kiss is awful too! Her best demos are from ITZ era.

That’s why it’s an unreleased song! :triggered:

No Quicksand is from Circus and it’s really great! FF also has some pretty great demos just like BJ.

I hear it, but I hear PI as well.

I can't prep to the exact moment but the keyboard riff at 3:53 sound excactly like the one in "I Want Your Love".

Excuse me for rudely butting in.

yeah but I Want Your Love was written and published YEARS before this :cryga:

edit: this is clearly intended, everybody knows Nile Rodgers so I doubt this was not intended to be noticed

it is not a plagiarism case, it is just clearly a sample

It's a common chord progression :gaycat: and it's not even exactly the same here

What's really interesting is how instrumentation and rhythm play into it. This song for example has the same exact chord progression as Applause,, but unless you played both on the piano you would never guess:

It actually is :air: Applause just hammers out the chords at a much quicker pace and the rhythm is different. I found out when I played learned Applause on piano, played around a little with the speed/ryhthm and was was like "WAIT A SECOND WTF THIS SOUNDS EXACTLY LIKE ANOTHER SONG I KNOW"

The voice and the production make the song sound like a Born To Die early outtake. @CrazyMonster are you familiar with Lana's songs?
