Soundtracks are usually released no more than a week before the film they're attached to so I doubt it. That will be especially true with ASIB since it's a musical and, therefore, will contain at least some spoilers for the film. The lead single will be eligible tho, and soundtrack singles are more likely to be nominated in major categories as they can become hits in their own rights and have a life outside of the film. And of course she could always resemble LG6 on the last Friday of September to capitalize and feed into the film hype , but I know better than to expect from her team at this point.

Voters/people in the industry like her enough to nominate her fairly often.

Soundtracks don't get AOTY nominations these days. It was much more common in the 90s. If a soundtrack were to do it, it'd be Black Panther anyway,

I would think the soundtrack will be released with the movie so it's gonna have to wait until next year.

The first single will likely be released before the cutoff, so hopefully it's a big hit

Like others have said, soundtracks rarely get an Album of the Year nomination, unless it's massively huge and popular.

Anyway, Best Song Written for Visual Media and a ton of other related categories are still very possible, so I'm still eyeing for some Grammy nominations/wins for A Star Is Born.

How so?

Gaga received exactly the same number of AoTY nomination as Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and one more than Adele.

She also won several Grammys unlike some of her Pop competitors like Katy Perry, Ariana Grande etc..

And not to mention, that, last year if it wasn't for the fact that the Blue Ribbon Committee wanted to convey a message of Diversity, Million Reasons would've been nominated for Song Of The Year. 5 out of 6experts on Goldderby had Million Reasons in their predictions for SoTY.

I'm still mad at the fact that Everytime something goes well for our Queen someone somewhere has to ruin it last minute. Either accidentally or out of spite. Maybe Gaga denied the Grammy's President's Facebook friend request? :vegas:
