if y'all knew me, y'all would know I hated G.U.Y. being made the 3rd single  and am a Gypsy stan

after seeing a bunch of ARTPOP reaction videos, i can confirm that gypsy would've smashed.

at the time, Avicii's music was getting a lot of hype and I can totally see the GP inhaling this song bc of the similar vibe, esp. that bombastic chorus

it has soothing, clear verses, a very current sound/instrumental style for 2013-2014 and deep, easy to digest lyrics

this song could've united the world tbh

ppl from all walks of life can appreciate the message of being alone but never lonely.

G.U.Y. was a fine single choice. It just would’ve been better following Applause, DWUW with a video, no blackout, Gypsy as a third single with a Grammys performance, and as a summer single.

Gypsy is my favorite song of all time. It is my favorite song on ARTPOP (which is my favorite album of all time) and it just hits me in such a way that I can't explain in words. That being said I have mixed feelings on if gypsy were a single. I think it would be great to have a music video for gypsy with clips from the artraves like what taylor did for Fearless, Sparks Fly, Red and New Romantics. It would be a great way to end the era but also there is a selfish part of me that just wants it to stay this fanbases hidden gem in gaga's discography.

This song always makes me smile and I think it would have done well as a single  I will say that the production is a little too much for me and I think it takes away some of the songs charm, but regardless, it should have/could have been a single.

I don't think so. Was it on her vevo or her personal. Ik we had the livestream of the last artrave and she sang gypsy with the "clock starts ticking" speech but never a video.

Anyone who thinks gypsy was single worthy is delusional. DWUW, Venus, Sex Dreams, and Applause were the only single worthy songs. Unfortunately the release of the singles, or lack there of, was messy.

I'm like 80% sure we did get one (so don't quote me on this if I'm wrong plz  ). It was like the studio version of Gypsy playing over tour footage, it was definitely an official thing.

There was one actually, with professional clips of the tour, backstage, wity fans etc. I think Natali's boyfriend did it.
