voidfigure 1,612
All the instrumentals from Gaga's albums are interesting imo: The Fame ones may sound kinda dated (except poker face and paparazzi, those were born to be timeless), but they are wisely produced. TFM blends a lot of different sounds but the production is well-crafted (think the sophisticated ones such as BR and DITD and the rawness of Speechless and Teeth). BTW had chaotic production but it fitted the album perfectly (except Highway Unicorn and Americano). ARTPOP has the best complex production imo, not necessarily needed but it's sonically very interesting. Joanne was meant to be stripped down and the music makes her voice shine in a wonderful way. I agree on The Cure tho, it's nothing special. The song itself is still a good one.

ARTPOP the song's instrumental slays me to this day. DANCIN' IN CIRCLES'S INSTRUMENTAL IS A JOURNEY THROUGH VOODOO SEXUAL WOODS true that but i like the itunes festival version more If you don’t have any shadows, you’re not standing in the light. Anyway Perfect Illusion is definitelly one of the best productions that she has i agree. everytime i listen to it i get goosebumps. If you don’t have any shadows, you’re not standing in the light. Mr Peeps 1,027
I think it's so fun to work your ass off on songs for days/weeks/months to later find threads like "oh this is boring"
Andreu 37,216
True that BTW have the best instrumentals... but with 2015984 layers that sound a little weird with vocals
freebit 6,240
I loved ARTPOP's instrumentals, the only awful one on there is Donatella.

ModernEcstasy 8,998
I disagree that they have become boring. I would however say that they are not as exciting/ interesting as her previous works. All of her instrumentals are excellent imo.

YeehawKylie 7,817
First of all, Perfect Illusion is not dated and has amazing instrumentals. It’s interesting and, while not revolutionary, different than most pop music on the market today. Second of all, this is just a broad change in music between 2008-2018. The EDM of 2009-2012 was very grand, very flashy. Times have changed.
