To start Born this way is the only album that has all the main components that makes a Gaga album great. It has great vocals, diversity, ambition, weirdness, cohesiveness, and creativity. The Fame and The Fame monster are great cohesive albums but they don't have Gaga's best vocals and they also don't have the ambition and musical diversity. Joanne has vocals, diversity, and cohesiveness, but it lacks a bit in the weirdness, ambition, and creativity departments. ARTPOP has the ambition, creativity, and diversity, but it lacks majorly in cohesiveness. On the other hand, Born This way manages to be diverse and cohesive at the same time while also having all the other components. Born this way has a big mixture of music genres but it's sound and theme still manages to be very cohesive. Gaga's also showcases some of her best and most unique vocals (ranging from operatic to pop to rock). And the album is a very ambitious mix of religious metaphors, acceptance, and freedom.
