All that stuck in my memory was the little pause after the first chorus when I thought "Is that it? ... oh, no". We found each other years later, now happily befriended. Most bars in Michigan let you in if your 18 and you have a stamp on your hand saying your a minor so you cant order the good stuff.. Anyway a bunch of us sweaty gays were bopping on the dance floor to Britney, Missy, and a few of the other pre Gaga Queens. Then some weird sounding announcer on the radio came on and introduced a new artist on the scene.. And i swear you have never seen so many gays hit the floor than i did in this club that night.. They all droped and started bumping there bussys like you have never seen one bump before.. Gheys were crying singing dancing and having what looked to be the beginning rituals of the soon to be gaga cult that was born. we all knew at that moment Music was about to change..
