Anthony Fantano said in his video review of Joanne that the lyrics are so explicit to the point where you just want to say "Oh come on, just say masturbation. You're not subtle or clever at all, song." I'm inclined to agree. That said, I still listen to the song. Like I said, I think the vocals and production quality are great despite the weak lyrics. Fashion! should’ve been a single. Born This Way is her worst album. ARTPOP was far ahead of its time and is her most creative project. Black Jesus deserved better. Schiße is very overrated. Paparazzi and LoveGame are far better then Poker Face and Just Dance You and I is the best BTW single Cheek to Cheek isn’t bad. If ARTPOP had different singles is could’ve been successful Jewels N Drugs isn’t bad Gypsy and Dope both deserve videos. Aura and Heavy Metal Lover wouldn’t have been successful radio tracks. Perfect Illusion is her best lead single. I want ARTPOP Act II BTW has a lot of filler tracks, and there are deluxe tracks that should’ve been on the standard edition. OT: -I love "The Queen" and "You and I". -I feel like both Gaga and Cher could do better than the two "The Greatest Things" demos that leaked. Maybe a disco duet. -The "HEY!" synth in "Sinner's Prayer" ruins the song for me. -I love TEOG music video -I want Gaga to release a Jazz album with original songs -Also, a Trance album, a 90's house album, a glam rock album, and a disco album with synthwave influences would be awesome, too. -I would LIVE if Gaga did an avant-garde electronic/orchestra influenced album -I hope Christian and Gaga are able to have kids I'll add more later Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
