We thought the ARTPOP era was bad at the time Probably not unpopular but I'm not over keen on her Dope style vocals that she seems to be carrying for every ballad now. The whole Joanne era is about inconsistency and pretense. Whenever she is trying to prove a point to everybody (Joanne), normally when she is saying things like "I don't make music for the charts", "I don't want to sound like everybody else", she is at her worse and most artificial. Also, because in those moments she tends to stray away from the zeitgeist and, paradoxically, look and sound conventional.
