So one of the most popular Romanian artists at the moment, Delia, has released a new track which is a legit rip off "You and I"

She's a huge fan of Gaga and there are lots of times she was inspired  by Gaga and many other pop stars

But that was very debatable, and to this day I still struggle to hear a similarity between the two, and I’m a huge fan of both artists.

Hmm. You know, Delia seems inspired, yes. But she's very clearly tributing Gaga's Joanne look there. It's not a unique idea that came from an inspiration, it's just the same look altogether.

With Born This Way and Express Yourself, I believe Gaga when she says the similarities were unintentional. Born This Way may have similarities but it's not a carbon copy like the Joanne look and the ARTPOP look above are.

Of course, tributes and nods are acceptable and wonderful but that's as long as that's not the only thing you do. I don't agree on the whole copying You and I thing, though, because You and I also samples Queen, so... The melodies are different too; just the accompaniment and direction of chords is similar.
