Wow. Coldplay's album sold really well. I hope ARTPOP sell's that much and more. Honestly, I think selling 6 million copies WW is really impressive judging by the state of album sales right now. Most albums released this year have barely passed the million mark. I expect this year's highest seller to be 21 (Obviously) but the second best-selling album of the year will sell about 4-5 million copies. It makes me appreaciate BTW's sales.

I'm happy to see that BTW sold a solid and healthy 6.3 million copies WW along with One Direction (whose album crossed the 3 million mark by now) and Lana del Rey (Who has crossed the 2 million mark by now) and Adele ().

Gaga first 2 singles are still her biggest sellers. Britney never topped BOMT. Kylie started with the biggest selling single of the 80s in Australia. Kesha and Katy really haven't topped their debut singles either.
