What they do is nowhere as deep or edgy as what Gaga does. Legends don’t collaborate with the twink next door. Not trying to come for what they do or anything, I actually quite like Ariana and Demi, but they’re NOT at Gaga’s level and saying they are is homophobic xoxo I came to comment this took the words right out of my mouth Yall need to stop imposing your gay fantasies on Gaga. Someone once said they don't want Gaga to collab with Madonna, Cyndi Lauper and Britney but they want a collab with Shawn Mendes. The gays just think with their bussies smh

The gays just think with their bussies smh Let me try to explain what I was going for more, because I wasn't going for a gay fantasy or anything like that. There have been so many good male/female duets over time. I mean, Madonna/JT is a pairing that's similar to Gaga/Nick. Justin was a Disney star who grew and made music too. He was current and had a voice that went well with her voice. It was a big hit and I still hear it today and still love it. Before that there's been a male/female duet from each decade and usually only one of the two is a legend. Songs like these are not meant to be deep or edgy at all, but a fun pop song that reflects the decade it was created in. 4 Minutes sounds 2000's but is still listenable today, same with Don't Go Breaking My Heart, I Just Can't Stop Loving You and I Got You Babe. Gaga is versatile and doesn't want to be put in a box, she doesn't want to be someone who is only deep and edgy. Pop Music is never low brow to her. I think the pairing is different enough to make for a good duet but not too different that it'll sound messy. Gaga has decades left to collab with everyone from Madonna to Nick Jonas to Britney Spears. Doing an actual duet with a male singer (besides the covers from C2C) and doing a duet with someone mainstream/current are both things we've never seen from Gaga before. I think it would be very interesting since it would be something so different from everything else and I think Nick would be the right guy to do it with.
