Head Empty 25,161
I don't know if it's incorrect per se, but in Million Reasons the following really irks me: "It's like that I've stopped breathing" It could've just as easily been: "It's like I have stopped breathing" without the weird emphasis on "that". Maybe it's just me Happiness will never last, darkness comes to kick your ass... ᵃˢˢ 🕺

Yes but I don't think it's correct in an official way, you can use it with friends but I'm not sure you can use it in your test The only GGD member who can read / Credits to Celloo Deng for the profile pic! Can we talk about how the real lyric is "One second I'm a KUNST" They finally showed that lyric (the RIGHT one) at Coachella Weekend 1 2 hours ago, Oriane said: It's Koons, that video from Coachella looked like some karaoke video found on Youtube or something. https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/ladygaga/images/2/2a/ARTPOP_Booklet_113.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/1024?cb=20131107200910 It is "Koons" referring to the fact that she posed for the statue and actually became a piece of art. So, art embodies her as she embodies art. But, since I think the Koons collaboration came after the writing process of Applause, it may be Kunst in the original lyrics, even if it does not makes that much sense to put it in German Anyway, in the "offcial" version of appluse she sings "Koons" and I think she also tweeted about it. I'm actually pretty sure bout that, she tweeted it along the tweet on the infamous discussion on "love me love me please retweet" Colourful

I'm not a native english speaker help me here It's representing /ə/, found in of /əv/. In English you don't think 'at' someone unless you are trying to communicate telepathically and hope they will read your mind. Or something. (Kind of like how we don't think in someone, like Spanish pensar en, although en in Spanish does have a larger semantic range than the English cognate.) The prescriptivism in this thread is disgusting, by the way. 俺の勝利は揺るぎない

I'm pretty sure she originally wrote it as "kunst" because that makes much more sense and is a Warholian idea of art embodying life and life embodying art. This is literally a discussion about why the booklets aren't reliable. It wasn't a random YouTube video. In Week 2, they changed it back to Koons within the same video, no other changes. Because people noticed and made a big deal of it here? lol 1 hour ago, Infinity Wave said: It is "Koons" referring to the fact that she posed for the statue and actually became a piece of art. I was shook when I saw "kunst" at Coachella. But then I learned what it meant, and I was even shooker. Gaga is a genius, and I love these small decisions that show how much care she puts into her concepts.
