I'm not a girl or a sis, nor do I think DIC is tropical house or confusing tropical with tropical house. This conversation leads to nowhere as the majority of fans do not think it is or its not a tropical sounding song. The polls were made here, and yes, 30 something people voted it has tropical influences, they can be just as wrong as you are on this topic, still, it does not mean it is tropical. Slant said it's genuflecting the tropical house, still it does not mean it is a tropical song, does it? Anyway, we've been through this many times for the past year and there's still no consensus other than The Cure is the closest to Gaga doing tropical house and DIC having many influences, mainly reagge and dance. Reagge is classified as tropical music and I didn't say it's pure tropical, I agree it has a lot of influences and a pop base. and yes, the majority of fans think of Dic as a tropical-sounding song. No, the ones that actually have some knowledge do not think of the song as tropical, agreed to everything else.

That’s why the majority - in your opinion - may think what we’re arguing right now. The rest of us do not agree with it. Tho I still am not sure about if in fact the majority thinks the way you think they do. Anyway, can we move on? I’ve got some errands to run.

Miel 15,009
It’s a favorite, a fun segment in the tour, and literally immersed within the crowd- it’s no surprise she loves performing it. That said, I personally see no logical or tonal point in releasing it as a single- not after the success of MR, not after The Cure, and not now. I mean, the sound it has is still a bit popular, and might actually go somewhere, but I would prefer something like Joanne at this point. And I would have wanted that months ago. 3 points in and ready for more

Million Reasons did surprisingly well and kept going for a long time, and then she released The Cure in honour of Sonja before she passed away, and that did surprisingly well too. And you can't follow two very personal and meaningful songs like that with a masturbation anthem I mean she could... Maybe she is saving it. It is during DIC that she makes that statement about Joanne being gone/a new bitch being in town/whatever else. I just think the era finished too quickly before she had a chance to release it. It's too bad though, we all know it would've gone well. Nah, it's during Bloody Mary is it not?
