In all these years that thought never struck me...

Said to me, "Girl, you look good enough to eat."
Put his arms around me
Said, “Boy, no, get your paws right off me.”

I wanna just dance, but he took me home instead
Uh-oh, there was a monster in my bed

He tore my clothes right off
He ate my heart and then he ate my brain

It seems kinda obvious for me.

Did Gaga confirm it ever?

Sweetie, Monster, the song, is a metaphor for The Fame and it's negative side.

You get it all wrong when you translate or interpret it with rape. Also lyrics like "We French kissed on a subway train" don't hint it's a rape. Gaga said The Fame Monster is about the negative experiences of the Fame.

Monster here represents the Fame; in order to become famous, you must stripp off your clothes and powerful people will tell you so; Gaga was just dancing and then suddenly she became a global star; she fall in love with the fame and the fame then directed her future.

Fear of Sex could be interpreted as being trauma from rape. It's quite possible, I believe Gaga was pulling from many separate experiences when crafting Monster, which is why as bubbly as it is, it never feels quite "light".

I just thought that it had to do with being infatuated and consumed with someone that is very bad for you...

I found out that she said it's about 'relationship' too

Maybe not a rape but some kind of sexual relationship that wasn't good for her

Interesting parallel to the Do What U Want chorus:

You can't have my heart and you won't use my mind but
Do what you want with my body

It's about her fear of sex. I don't think she realized it at that time, but she said in 2014 it took her years to admit that she had been raped and it destroyed her and made her relationship to sex kind of weird. I think she's referring to rape, even unconsciously.

not sure, the "he ate my heart" wouldn't make sense in that case... to me it sounds like it's about a serial heart-breaker
