Sunday 2,183
Single: Nine In The Afternoon Album: Pretty. Odd. Song: When The Day Met The Night / Impossible Year Video: That Green Gentleman (Things Have Changed) / This Is Gospel Spoiler So, I started getting into P!ATD during around Death Of A Bachelor era (kicked off with that Fine Bros react video) then decided to venture through their discography immediately, and believe me, I used to hate Pretty. Odd. with a passion If you were asking me this question when I was still that little fetus Sinner, my favorite album would have been TWTLTRTD, but it got old faster for my palette than I can grow hair. As time passes, it always shifts from DOAB to AFYCSO to DOAB again. Its a complicated relationship I have with their music, nevertheless, I'm still in love with the band. One day, I got bored and decided to give PO a chance (over God knows how many times), then it finally clicked. Partly because the happy sound injected to the record went along with my recent exit from severe anxiety, but other than that, I just genuinely appreciate the sound shift from AFYCSO and almost everything about the record minus a few tracks (loved everything from tracks 1-8, mixed remarks from 9 onwards). I liked more songs on other albums, heck, I love the entirety of DOAB, but my case is that it didn't matter to me how many songs I liked on a project. I know you didn't ask for a story, but I also know my fave isn't exactly embraced in the fanbase so of course you're gonna question why I chose that over other favored albums. I always get flustered every time the band is mentioned in this site
